Summer Trend: The Swimsuits

So this is one of my 'Summer Trend' posts and today I'm featuring the swimsuits.

Since I'm on holiday where there's beaches everywhere, I've been noticing some swimsuit trends.

Here we go,

1. One Shoulder:

I used to see more one shouldered swimsuits with thin straps but recently thick straps have been the 'it' thing.

2. Ruffles

Personally, I'm not a big fan of these but I have to admit they do add a touch of 'feminine' into a plain swimsuit.

3. Vintage Inspired

High waist bottoms, Playful patterns, sweetheart necklines! Love them! These are my favorite, they're really chic and glamorous. You can be as bombshell as Monroe and as sophisticated as Kelly!

That's it for now!

I really don't know what to blog about.

I just know that I want to write something.

I'm about to leave for a tennis lesson in five minutes and I just had breakfast; A Soy Vanilla Yogurt, Scrambled Eggs and a Pain au Chocolat. Mmmm. . .

As most of you might have guessed I'm on summer vacation and honestly I am having so much fun ! I've been meeting up with my old friends and my best friend lives with them so we've been going out a lot! My best friend is also soon going to live with me and we're so excited! Anyway, I pretty much think this was a rather pointless post, but at least I posted.

Thanks for reading!

Beach Bag Essentials

Since it's summer I've been going out to the beach and pool everyday and my beach bag has been full.

So I decided to share my essentials.

Here we go;

1. My beach bag.
I recommend getting quite a big one, mine's from Lancaster and it's nice and waterproof inside. A big straw bag (like shown in my collage) is also a very good option.

2. Sun Cream/Lotion I like to use SPF 50 and my favorite brand is Nivea (because of it's amazing smell and consistency)

3. A Snack.
I loooove snacking at the beach, my favorite snack for the beach is popcorn; it's light and fat-free. A granola bar is also one of my favorites.

4. Sunglasses. I've recently been to the eye doctor with my mom and he told us that UV lights to a lot of damage to your eyes, it might not be visible now, but in a few years you might start to get weaker eye sight and wrinkles everywhere around your eyes. My favorite brands for shades are: Emilio Pucci, Chloe, Ray-Ban and Carrera.

5. A good book. I decided to read 'To Kill A Mockingbird' by Harper Lee over the summer so I ordered it online and I currently read it at the beach.

6. A body fragrance/mist. Everyone needs to freshen up once in a while, so carrying a body mist always helps. I especially like body mists because they're very light. I like the body shop ones and so far I've only tried 4 of the bath and body works ones and I love them. My favorite one being: Cucumber Melon.

7. A Concealer. I always carry a concealer with me just in case. The Boi-ing concealer from benefit is one of my favorites.

8. My ipod. Carrying around an ipod/mp3 is always a good idea. I like listening to it while tanning or reading my book.

9. Water. In the sun it's always important to stay hydrated and moisturised. I love 'Fiji' water.

10. Beach Shorts a.k.a. surfing shorts. I really find these useful wether it's to go grab and ice cream straight from the beach or just if it gets kind of chilly. Plus the good thing about these is that they dry very fast so you don't have to worry about getting water on them.

11. A beach towel. I think this is fairly obvious, haha.

12. A hair brush. I like brushing my hair after swimming because it really helps later on when I wash my hair and condition it. My hair stays tangle-free.

Thank you,

'Until The Very End'

Okay, so I must confess. I love ADORE Harry Potter. I know it might seem so childish but...I am obsessed.

So yesterday I watched the last part. I cried. Enough said.

My favorite movies were: The Chamber of Secret; The Order of the Phoenix and The Deathly Hallows (both parts) .

So the movie was meant to start at 10 pm and my friends and I came at 7. . . because we were so scared that there'll be a big line and they'll run out of tickets. But we were the first ones there ;)

I cried during the movie because of things that happened in the movie, but afterwards I just cried because it's over.

Too Faced VS. Benefit Part II

This is the sequel to the post below. In this part I'll be reviewing the rest of the make up products from each brand and then saying which brand I prefer for each product.

 Palettes and Sets:

Benefit:

Benefit don't offer a lot of palettes but do have several  sets.

As far as I know they have to more or less 'popular' palettes these are:
Big beautiful eyes (quad)

Smoking Eyes Palette

I've only had the 'smokin eyes' and I wasn't too impressed with it, the pigmentation wasn't that great and I honestly don't think the product suits the price. I did not like this.

The Benefit sets however are really good. I think they offer a good amount of product and the price is very good as well.

I love:

and

Too Faced:

Too Faced have two very 'well known' palettes the Natural Eye and the Naked Eye. The pigmentation is very good and the selection of colors are very good. They also offer the 'Romantic Eye' the 'Smokey Eye' the 'Insurance Policy' and the 'Liquify Palette'.

I also enjoy their sets. My favorite ones are:

Pink Carpet Survival Kit

Poolside Primping Set
Overall, I do prefer Too Faced for Palettes and Sets etc.

In my next post I'll feature Lip Products.

Thank You,

Too Faced VS. Benefit Part I

Hello Bubbles:)
When I first started getting into makeup and all that jazz I tended to confuse Too Faced and Benefit . . did you?

So I decided to do this comparison post...

Starting off with the blushes -

Benefit:

Benefit offer a wider selection of cheek colours, they have numerous 'box powders' and their liquid cheek stains.

This is the 'Throb' blush which is one of my favorites, 'Coralista' is also one of my absolute favorites!

This is one of their famous cheek tints, this one is their newest release I got this recently and I have to say along with 'Posie Tint' this one is my favorite! The consistency is rather like 'jelly' which prevents streaking.

Too Faced:

Too Faced blushes and cheek products are less 'raved' about but still good. They offer creamy blushes, brightening, and bloomy ones.

This is a creamy blush (also may be used on the lips) in 'Sweet Pea' I must admit the consistency isn't the creamiest and does dry out quite quick. Otherwise the pigmentation is good.

This is one of the 'brightening' blushes, these are really really good! This shade is my favorite as well. I totally recommend this.

Overall, I think that Benefit cheek products are better than too faced just because they offer a wider selection and I just feel like the quality is better.

Thank You! In the next part expect: palettes and foundation etc.

Until Later
